All Seasons Chimney Service has proudly served Normal, Central Illinois and its surrounding areas since 2002. We pride ourselves for not only our excellent, high-quality work, but also for our above-par customer service and products that we guarantee will fulfill your entire chimney and fireplace needs. Take a look below to find out more about the products we offer!
Crown Coat & Crown Seal
The chimney crown, also referred to as the chimney wash, is the top element of a masonry chimney. It covers and seals the top of the chimney from the flue liners to the chimney edge. Most masonry chimneys are built with an inadequate crown constructed from common mortar mix, the same mixture used to lay the bricks of the chimney. This mortar is not designed for and will not withstand years of weather abuse without cracking, chipping or deteriorating. This deterioration can lead to costly repairs such as tuck pointing, chimney relining, and possible total reconstruction of the chimney.
We solve this problem with the use of Crown Coat or Crown Seal (depending on the amount of deterioration).
Both are a flexible waterproof sealant that is applied over the entire crown sealing all cracks and deterioration. Crown Coat comes with a 15 warranty and Crown Seal comes with a 10 year warranty.
Chimney Saver Water Repellent
Severe spalling (flaking, crumbling) and deterioration of chimney brick is caused by water penetration.
Efflorescence stains caused by water penetration and leaching salts (white powder on brick face) are unsightly and add to deterioration. Water penetration and freeze/thaw damage result in loss of insulation value and lead to structural failure.
Water absorbs into the pores of the masonry which when frozen expands and causes the masonry to deteriorate.
Our solution to prevent further damage is Chimney Saver.
Chimney Saver repels water and moisture from the masonry while at the same time allows moisture that is already in the masonry to escape.
Chimney Saver comes with a 10 year warranty.
Flash Seal
Flashing is the material at the base of chimneys that is designed to waterproof the juncture where they penetrate the roof. Faulty or deteriorated flashings can cause leaks and water damage to the surrounding roof deck or eventually the interior finishes of your home.
Our solution is Flash Seal.
Flash Seal is a long-lasting flashing repair system designed to stop leaks around chimneys. It is available in 3 color choices black, brown and white.
Flash Seal comes with a 7 year warranty.
Chimney Caps
Not having a cap on your chimney can cause many different problems. Animals see an uncapped chimney as an open invitation to move in - unfortunately, they bring with them a variety of evils. Birds and animals carry diseases such as rabies and histoplasmosis. Bird dropping combine with rain to create a terrible smell. Once a squirrel or raccoon gets into your chimney, it may also enter your home. Animals nesting in your chimney can result in dangerous flue blockages.
Rain causes premature deterioration to the chimney interior and can damage metal fireboxes and dampers. It can also erode flue tiles and mortar joints, causing them to crumble and leave dangerous cracks and blockages. A chimney cap will stop costly moisture damage.
A chimney without a proper cap may allow airborne embers to ignite shingles, leaves, trees, or grass. All of our chimney caps carry a lifetime warranty and come in many sizes, shapes, and styles.
Top Dampers
Save money and seal in warmth with a top damper! Traditional fireplace dampers leak. They leak a lot. That costs you big money in lost utility dollars going out your chimney.
A Lyemance Top-Sealing Damper will change all that. This well constructed, superbly engineered damper eliminates 90% of the winter heat and summer cooling loss that leaks past your current damper. It also eliminates downdrafts and keeps moisture and animals out of your chimney and home. Moisture in your chimney causes unwelcome odors and leads to deterioration of bricks and mortar. The Lyemance Top-Sealing Damper works year round to protect your chimney. That's why thousands are installed each year.
The OPC model also offers the protection of a chimney cap when the damper is open, keeping birds, leaves, rain and snow from entering your chimney.
Silicone rubber gasket provides solid, tight-sealing protection. Nothing seals like a rubber gasket. That's why we use rubber enhanced silicone for lifetime durability. It makes the Lyemance Top-Sealing Damper seal super tight, just like an old fashioned Mason jar. Traditional throat dampers only give metal to metal contact - notoriously leaky and expensive. (Also available in stainless steel with attached chimney cap.)
All top sealing dampers and caps come with a lifetime warranty.

HomeSaver Fireplace Chimney Re-lining
Your chimney, like most chimneys, probably appears to be in fine condition on the outside. But let’s take a closer look at what really counts in chimney operation…the inside.
When we look at the interior of this same chimney we can find a number of imperfect conditions.

Pieces are missing from the original clay liner and there are cracks in the clay liner. Older chimneys might not even have a liner. Mortar and bricks are loose and falling; and there is excessive buildup of combustible creosote on the flue walls. These conditions are a result of a number of possible causes, including: flue fires, an improperly vented or misused stove or insert, poor construction, excessive moisture, and more. With continued use of this chimney, any of these conditions could lead to loss of property or life.
It happened thousands of times last year - chimney defects resulted in home fires. It doesn’t take much to start a home fire…a spark flitting through a crack in the chimney wall into the attic…a chimney ember igniting a creosote fire which then climbs the full height of the chimney “looking” for an opening in the chimney wall…or simply excessive heat reflected through chimney walls when a clay liner is missing.
Fortunately, the problems of a deteriorating chimney can be corrected without completely rebuilding your chimney.
Revitalize your chimney with a HomeSaver chimney relining system.
HomeSaver will restore and revitalize your chimney by putting four layers of stainless steel plus insulation between your chimney flue and the defects in your chimney walls. This will add to the safety of your home and family; and it will increase the resale value of your home.
HomeSaver’s 4-ply stainless steel construction is unsurpassed in strength and protection. It has been teasted and listed by Underwriters Laboratories to their highest heat teat standard. HomeSaver chimney relining systems come with a lifetime warranty.
Flexi-Liner Furnace Liners (for gas appliances)
Gas fired heating appliances produce low temperature, high moisture content flue gas which collect as acidic condensate on the inside of oversized, cold masonry chimneys. It is this condensate that is the primary cause of masonry chimney deterioration which creates a serious health hazard (carbon monoxide poisoning) as well as costly home repairs. Installing a lightweight, properly sized, metal chimney liner will help create efficient, condensate free venting. Flexi-liner is UL Listed, tough two ply aluminum construction, corrosion resistant, unique gas tight patented seam. Flexi-liner comes with a 15 year warranty.
