Chimney Cleaning and Level I Inspection
NFPA (National Fire Protection Agency) recommends having your chimney cleaned and inspected once each year.
If we do find any problems with your flue (chimney) a Level II inspection is recommended
Chim-Scan Video Inspection (Level II)
A Level II Inspection is generally limited to accessible areas of the chimney structure and appliance installation. Accessible areas are those that can be reached without destructive action to the building or building finish. A Level II Inspection will include all portions of a Level I Inspection as well as accessible areas of the chimney structure, including areas within accessible attics, basements and crawl spaces. In addition, a Level II Inspection will include an examination of the chimney interior by video scanning or other comparable means of inspection. The inspector should also determine that the flue is properly sized for the connected appliance(s).
A Level II Inspection is the recommended level of inspection:
Level III Chimney Inspection
A Level III inspection includes all the areas and items checked in a Level 1 and a Level 2 inspection, as well as the removal of certain components of the building or chimney where necessary. Removal of components (i.e., chimney crown, interior chimney wall) shall be required only when necessary to gain access to areas that are the subject of the inspection. When serious hazards are suspected, a Level 3 inspection may well be required to determine the condition of the chimney system.
Dryer Vent Cleaning and Inspection
Clothes dryers are reported as being a major cause of 15,500 house fires annually, costing millions of dollars in damages, deaths and injuries, each year. Clogs happen when lint bypasses your dryer lint filter and builds up in your dryer venting system; causing it to run longer, work harder and possibly overheat.
Here's how you might spot potential danger in your vent:
- Dryer takes more than an hour to dry a simple load of clothes
- Clothes come out damp after a full cycle.
- Birds or animals are entering your vent from the outside (birds like to nest in cozy dryer vents)
- Your transition pipe (the connection from your dryer to the wall) is made of plastic or paper material.
We use special brushes and rods to clean out your dryer vent. All vents are tested for air velocity before and after we have cleaned the vent to ensure proper flow.
Don’t become a statistic! Call today at (309) 531-3220 to schedule a dryer vent cleaning and inspection.

Well, there is good news! All Seasons Chimney Service can do all the work for you!
We clean all the debris out of the gutter and downspouts all well as flush the gutter system to insure proper flow.
